The Great Escape Cabin - Pigeon Forge, TN

The most wonderful thing about having a blog is forgiveness of picking up where I left off.  Sorry it has been so long! So long in fact that since I last blogged things have changed on how I can post and I am so excited about that! Before i didn't have a smart phone. So get ready for some great recipes, places to go, things to do and all on a budget!

My family was in great need of a quiet fun getaway. Away from the hustle and bustle of the internet world! Our friends recently bought a cabin in Sevierville, Tn. Just outside pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Close enough for us to drive to so we can avoid the cost of plane tickets. We were in!

With a couple stops at some fun places on the way we arrived at the cabin 13.5 hrs from Orlando. My girls are now 4 and 2. With the help of their tablets they did great on the trip. We let them help guide us and discover the different states as we went through them. We took a different route instead of the boring Georgia route and loved it! We drove up 95 north through St.Augustine into Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and into Tennessee.

When we pulled up we knew it was just what we needed. Upon opening the door and seeing the massive fireplace and the beautiful home decor it was almost instantaneous that the stress dropped off. We were ready to relax!

This cabin is called "The Great Escape" it is just that. It is 4bedrooms and 4baths. Two of the bedrooms have in room jacuzzi tubs. There is a game room with a pool table, board games, and cards. Next time we come we are going to bring a wee or rock band which will be fun to incorporate into the family and friend game time fun. We actually played monopoly which was a fun flashback from when I was little :)

If you are looking for an amazing getaway with your family away from it all. The Great Escape cabin is your place!
