NaNa's Apple Pie

Apple Pie is my favorite pie! A lot of people think that it is difficult to make and its not...it is actually
pretty simple. I use to make my crust, now I use the Pillsbury pre-made pie crust, they are simple, and just as delicious. They are in a box in the refrigerator section and come in a package of two 9" crusts that are flat. You can make your own if you prefer.

Once you know how to make this filling, you can also make mini pies, or turnovers, using the same ingredients. Just cut the crust into four, fill the center, fold it over and pinch the edges, and bake. Instant apple pie turnover :)

Some people also like to add nuts or raisins to their pie. I like mine just simple like my grandma use to make.

I would love to hear from you. Enjoy!
