Lemon Jello Cake


My friend Sara sent me this delicious recipe. It is a nice summer cake, who does not love lemon cake. Thank you Sara for the great recipe. Enjoy!

1 Package Yellow Cake Mix
1 Package Lemon Jello
4 Eggs
3 tsp Lemon Extract
1/2 Cup Oil
1 Cup Water
  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Mix together all ingredients in a bowl
  • Pour into 9 x 15" Pan or Bundt Pan
  • Bake at 350° for 35 minutes
  • When you take it from the oven, while it is still hot, prick with fork
  • Now Drizzle Glaze over top the cake
Glaze:

Grate rind of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lemon
1 Cup Confectioners Sugar
  • Mix together ingredients in sauce pan
  • Bring to boil
  • Remove from heat
  • Must be runny
  • Drizzle over the top of the cake
