Wedge Salad

I had a friend over for dinner last night. I served a simple Wedge Salad, with my Homemade Flatbread.
I served the flatbread with tomatoes, feta, and spinach. She is a vegetarian, so this meal was perfect for her and easy for me, we both loved it!

I thought I would share this simple recipe with you because most people have ordered this salad out, but tend to forget that they can easily make it at home.

I love a nice, cold, crispy wedge salad. Nothing beats it when it comes to salads. It makes a great presentation on a plate for company, is super easy, and inexpensive!

The traditional Wedge Salad has blue cheese chunks, blue cheese dressing, and bacon bits, with diced up tomato. I like to use Feta Cheese instead, with ranch dressing.

Play around with it according to your taste...anything goes...Iceberg lettuce keeps longer then Romaine, and is very inexpensive. You don't get the same nutritional value as Romaine, but it still is...a yummy salad :)
