Ways to use your Newspaper!

I have to share a tip I learned today! My friend Mary Schatte, told me that when you are planting a garden, or creating your landscaping beds, instead of purchasing a landscaping fabric for weed control, just simply use newspapers.

All you have to do is soak them in water for 48hrs prior to planting your beds, lay them down like you would the landscaping fabric, and place your dirt over them. They can last up to 2 years and are totally bio-degradable. I was so excited about that tip...who knew...I had to share!
