Easy Mexican Layered Dip
This dip is something I have been making for a long time. There are many different ways to make this dip. I am going to show you the quickest and most inexpensive way. If you want to be more elaborate, you can chop up fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions, meat etc. The reason I usually make it this way, is to keep cost down, and feed a big crowd. It is usually gone quick!
Servings 10-15 Cost: $4.50
1 Large can of Refried Beans
1 Package of Taco Seasoning-I use low sodium
1 Container of Salsa-I use the kind from the produce dept
1 16oz Container of Sour Cream
1 8oz Package of Cheese-Whatever kind you want
1 Bag of Tortilla Chips
- In a bowl mix together your refried beans and taco seasoning mix
- In a large casserole dish spread the bean mixture on the bottom of the dish (I have a friend that does not like beans so I use Guacamole or Cream Cheese instead.)
- Layer your Salsa
- Layer your Sour Cream
- Top with your Cheese
- You can garnish with Jalapeno or Black olives if you want
- No Baking serve it cold
- Serve with Tortilla chips
