Neighborly Haunts

Do you really know your neighbors? Do you take time to get to know the people that live around you? Or are you like most busy adults who park the car in the garage, close the door, and rarely come out of the house with the intent on building immediate community.

Try the following gesture this Halloween (Or any holiday season) no matter if you’re flying solo or with your family, and spread some anonymous, but neighborly goodwill. Who knows you may start something Spooktacular!

Pack a re-usable grocery bag (Publix has some great Holiday themed sustainable bags) with fun festive sweet treats and some health-conscious inspired snacks too, such as herbal tea, Skinny Pop Popcorn or even fruits.

Sketch a simple ghost on an 8.5 x11 piece of paper.

Then print the following message on another blank piece of paper:

Halloween is very near
A Bag O’ Treats brings lots of cheer!

Follow steps one, two, and three
And have fun being neighborly!

1. Fill a Bag O’ Treats.
2. Copy ghost picture and instructions, place inside bag.
3. Deliver Bag O’ Treats (When you receive a bag, put ghost picture visible to neighbors.)
