Beer Chili

Still, on the note of budget meals...nothing beats a pot of chili!

The great thing about chili is you can use the leftovers for meals the next day. Double up this recipe to plan for that.

Here are some ideas: I like to make Chili burritos the next day. Warm up your chili, pour into a tortillas, add cheese, and sour cream...you have another meal.

Also, one of my favorites, is throw a couple of potatoes in the microwave, take them out, top them with chili, cheese and sour cream. Yum!

Chili is not just for the wintertime. It is a meal anytime. Healthy, inexpensive, quick and easy! This meal feeds the entire family, with leftovers, for the cost of one meal at McDonald's.
