Pumpkin Patch Picking Fun

The long awaited time is here...Fall! This time is my favorite time of year! It is
also a great time for those fall activities with the kids and family. There are lots of local places that have pumpkin patches, hay rides, corn mazes, and fall festivals.

If you are a Central Florida resident I have listed some long awaited openings, of some local places, that start this week.

Our family has a family tradition of a place we go to every year for pumpkins and a Christmas tree.  If you are in Florida it is our favorite place. It is call Santa's Christmas Tree Forest. It has lots of fun things to do for the kids. At Christmas Santa and Mrs. Clause is there for pictures also.

If you are out of state here is a website you can go to and find what is going on in your area. It is called PumpkinPatchesandMore.org.

Another great Florida place is; Long and Scott Farms in Zellwood. Their produce stand opens Oct.1st. They will kick off their annualFall Corn Maze on Sat Oct 3rd. They are having an Opening Day Fall Festival with Radio Disney. They will have food vendors or you can pack a picnic lunch. There will be fun activities for the entire family!

Another Central Florida Location opening Oct. 10th is Painted Oaks Academy in Orlando. This is a fun place for hay rides, fall activities, camps and lessons year round. They have their Pumpkins and Pony Festival on Oct 24th-25th. Free Admission with lots of games and activities. Bring a picnic lunch.

Depending on where you are in Florida, there are lots of patches to pick from. So, get out and enjoy some of these wonderful fall activities with your family. These kind of activities makes a lifetime of memories that your children will never forget. I would love to hear from you. Happy Pumpkin Pickin!
